Just another Manic Monday & Tuesday...

Yes, it's been one of those weeks, already. My plans to rein in things here at home have yet to come to fruition. I don't even remember all the details (that part might be age related) but I have been running around more than planned. Monday's a busy day anyhow since it's my carpool day to and from school. When I arrived to school on Monday my daughter's teacher said she couldn't meet with me after school on Wed to discuss my daughter's progress report but she could meet me at lunch on Monday. So at 11:15 I headed back to school. Went home when done - came back at 2:30 - took Little Miss and 2 friends to CCD - took car pool friend home - @ 4:30 picked up LM from CCD and went right to hockey. Home from hockey at 6:30'ish. yippee! I love my car. :)

Today I get into the car to take the kids to school and a light comes on that says 'check tire pressure on left passenger tire'- no tragedy but these things always scare me. So I drop of kids, run to Kmart, call hubby to see if his friend will put air in my tire (I am such a 'girl') since his shop is right by Kmart. Stop to get air in tire. (Did I mention I love my car? It is so smart.) Get home to pick up scrapbooking stuff (priorities) and then check email. Then get a call from a customer of ours who is WAAAYYYY behind on paying some bills and deal with that as best I can. I tell you , it was a perfect day to scrapbook. Friends, lunch and just chatting and scrapbooking. I am home now and working on getting ready for some domestic chores right after blogging. I do have some clothes in the wash so I am multitasking!

It is 8 days until Thanksgiving and it is 85 degrees out - yes, it is. Actually it's nice, just a little hard to get in the holiday mood, especially since we are going here for Thanksgiving. Pray for snow.

I will leave you with this little thought as we approach Thanksgiving...

Oh man...85 degrees???? Lucky! We just got DUMPED with over a foot of snow in the past 24 hours...it's still falling. I'm home in PA right now. I'm so not ready for snow!!

Any day is a good day and any excuse is a good excuse to scrapbook I say. :o)

I've never been one to keep a journal or diary (as we called it back in the 70's).  I had a diary in grade school but wrote in it only sporadically.  It was one of those cute little ones with a lock and key that were so popular back in the day. Easter Deals, Ideas & Fun Stuff - 4/11/17

~I just finished reading 'The One & Only' by Emily Giffin .  I've read all her books except her newest one ('First Comes Love') and I think 'The One & Only' is my favorite so far. I highly recommend it. I am excited to dig into 'First Comes Love' soon. ~Easter is Sunday and I know most of us are knee deep in preparation. *One of our family traditions is making these sticky buns for Easter morning.  I usually only make them on Christmas and Easter as they are pretty rich and I want them to be a treat.  Kind of how my Grandma made ebelskiver's for us when we were little - we wanted them everyday but she made them on rare occasion and everyone of her grandchildren remembers how special they were. Every year I write about candy-free Easter basket filler ideas.
