Finished....




With American Idol that is. (Nothing really important!) If anyone watched it last night you will know the shock when Michael got voted off. What happened?? I even voted (for Michael) for the first time this year - maybe that was the problem! :) It really just ends up being a popularity contest I guess. I thought Michael would have made in to the top 5 or 6 at least. I do hope he gets a big fat contract and shows them (whoever them is)! Just like Chris Daughtry did. I hear Daughtry is opening for BonJovi in LA - how cool is that??
So now that I am not watching Idol (baby that I am) I have freed up a few hours a week. I wonder how I will fill the time? I could read or clean. hmmm What a choice. If I read I will probably think I should be cleaning; if I clean I will probably wish I was reading. I am sure I will figure it out soon enough. :)
Speaking of cleaning, I should be doing that now! My sister arrives in mere hours and my house is not in good shape. So, as soon as I am done here I will pull out that mop...

I was shocked too when michael got voted off.But I sometimes wonder if the singers would be better off without idol on their own contract.But who knows...P.S. Have a great weekend with your sister :)

I enjoy watching AI, but this year I have commitments on both T and W nights, so I've only seen snippets a couple times. Sometimes I check in on-line to see who's still in--I do think it's a fun show.

I've never been one to keep a journal or diary (as we called it back in the 70's).  I had a diary in grade school but wrote in it only sporadically.  It was one of those cute little ones with a lock and key that were so popular back in the day. Easter Deals, Ideas & Fun Stuff - 4/11/17

~I just finished reading 'The One & Only' by Emily Giffin .  I've read all her books except her newest one ('First Comes Love') and I think 'The One & Only' is my favorite so far. I highly recommend it. I am excited to dig into 'First Comes Love' soon. ~Easter is Sunday and I know most of us are knee deep in preparation. *One of our family traditions is making these sticky buns for Easter morning.  I usually only make them on Christmas and Easter as they are pretty rich and I want them to be a treat.  Kind of how my Grandma made ebelskiver's for us when we were little - we wanted them everyday but she made them on rare occasion and everyone of her grandchildren remembers how special they were.
