Big Brother...



My name is Debra and I am a Big Brother-aholic. Ten years this has been on - TEN YEARS. I will say that we have only watched it since season 3. So that's okay, right? Why do we waste our time on this? I have to say that I haven't watched quite as much this season. I am just not really liking any of the characters a whole lot (no offense intended). Not to mention that we watch the 'after dark' show on Showtime so we kind of know what's going to happen.


I do think it would be really cool to be the person who thinks up the competions. Some of the are great. Tuesday night's POV astronaut competion was very neat. I would have loved to compete in that one. So you know where to find my husband and me on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday nights...

If you promise not to tell anyone, I'll confess...I watch it too, and After Dark...I can't stand anyone from either of the last two seasons, so it may be my last.

We spent season 6 and All Stars with Live feed subscriptions and had our big tv hooked up to the computer. (go Janelle!)

I love the show, too. However, I do not love the people as much as I have in the past. I have watched 9 seasons. I misses the one with Chicken George. I am addicted.

Only 9 years since they pulled a fast one this spring and did BB9 to replace all the shows not being shown because of the writer's strike. I didn't like that, because I really do enjoy watching it and since it is on 3 times a week I don't have that kind of time during the school year...but I am a BBaholic too. Matter of fact, I record it on the DVR and watch it when I am finished for the eveing and can throughly enjoy it. I don't get the after dark but I will admit that I check out the spoiler blogs....

I've never been one to keep a journal or diary (as we called it back in the 70's).  I had a diary in grade school but wrote in it only sporadically.  It was one of those cute little ones with a lock and key that were so popular back in the day. Easter Deals, Ideas & Fun Stuff - 4/11/17

~I just finished reading 'The One & Only' by Emily Giffin .  I've read all her books except her newest one ('First Comes Love') and I think 'The One & Only' is my favorite so far. I highly recommend it. I am excited to dig into 'First Comes Love' soon. ~Easter is Sunday and I know most of us are knee deep in preparation. *One of our family traditions is making these sticky buns for Easter morning.  I usually only make them on Christmas and Easter as they are pretty rich and I want them to be a treat.  Kind of how my Grandma made ebelskiver's for us when we were little - we wanted them everyday but she made them on rare occasion and everyone of her grandchildren remembers how special they were.
